Bevza/Zhuravel “Following the inner light”

Catalog of the art project “Following the Inner Light”, dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Taras Shevchenko, which creates a field of interaction for people of good will and creative forces of America and Ukraine.

 In this difficult and fateful time for the Ukrainian people, Petro Bevza and Mykola Zhuravel are trying to solve the problems facing the new Ukrainian society in art.  The works of two such different artists are united in the art project “Following the Inner Light” with the desire to define the work of Great Kobzar as the root of the tree of modern Ukrainian art, to emphasize Taras Shevchenko’s artistic ideas as the creator of visions and essences of cultural progress.

Bevza and Zhuravel enter into a casual dialogue, which draws the viewer into the creative process of their own search and cognition.

 The picturesque and poetic works collected in the publication open invisible doors not only to the world of each of the artists, but also to the world of every conscious Ukrainian, thirsty for spiritual unity with Creator and the world.
